Material and Data Transfer Agreements
The University of Utah, through the Partners for Innovation, Ventures, Outreach & Technology (PIVOT) Center, works with our faculty members, researchers and staff, along with their academic collaborators, to put in place appropriate agreements when there is a need to send or receive material, data or other information between institutions. Part of this process includes appropriate screening of our academic collaborators outside of the United States. The process begins by submitting an agreement request here. Please contact the PIVOT Center with any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The University of Utah, through the Graduate School and the Partners for Innovation, Ventures, Outreach & Technology (PIVOT) Center, works with our faculty members to facilitate and coordinate visiting scientists and scholars on our campus. The University’s interests are largely protected through the use of a Visiting Scientist Agreement. The contracting process for this agreement includes appropriate screening of our academic collaborators and their institutions. The process begins by completing the agreement and a registry form on the Graduate School website here. Please contact the Graduate School or a member of PIVOT with any questions or concerns.
